  • Digital Operator

    EU Services is currently seeking a Digital Operator to join our team. If you have operating experience and feel you would be a good fit for the job based on the responsibilities outlined below, we would love to hear from you!

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Operate multiple machines.
    • Monitor warning lights and bells to respond accordingly.
    • Ensure that all completed output is delivered to their appropriate destination.
    • Notify Supervisor of job completions, stock shortages, and production delays.
    • Process paperwork according to established procedures.
    • Ensure that all accounting, personnel and administration reports are printed daily or as required and delivered promptly to recipients.
    • Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and in operable condition at all times.
    • Perform inventory check on a regular basis to ensure availability of supplies and consumables.
    • Operate hand truck and floor jack.
    • Work overtime and weekends as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Capable of speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Math skills include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Can lift/move 50 pounds regularly.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • Folder Operator

    EU Services is currently seeking a Folder Operator to join our team. If you have operating experience and feel you would be a good fit for the job based on the responsibilities outlined below, we would love to hear from you!

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Operate and maintain the folder machine.
    • Produce Load Tickets that are accurate and contain all the necessary information.
    • Use the PSI system daily and inputs counts on production sheets.
    • Train new existing employees on proper procedures relating to job quality standards and safety.
    • Load and catch all sizes and types of materials coming off folders.
    • Ensure that pagination or page order is correct.
    • Ensure trims are correct, straight and as clean as possible.
    • Ensure crossovers or bleeds are right and finished product has no offset or markings caused by the folder.
    • Work in other departments and overtime as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Less than high school education and/or up to one month related experience or training.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
    • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
    • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
    • Math skills include adding and subtracting two digit numbers, as well as multiplying and dividing with 10's and 100's. Must be capable of performing these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
    • Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl while talking or listening.
    • Can regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
    • Eyesight can adjust focus and spot detail.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assist in producing, preparing direct mail package according to USPS regulations and EU quality standards.
    • Prepare mail for post office by sorting and bagging all classes of mail according to postal regulations at production rates.
    • Read, understand, and follow job card instructions.
    • Provide accurate counts on job cards.
    • Gather all necessary materials for production runs.
    • Operate hand trucks and floor jacks.
    • Work overtime and weekends as required.
    • Work in other departments when asked.
    • Maintains clean working area by sweeping floors, wiping down machinery, and collecting separate trash to be recycled.

    Qualifications:

    • High school education and/or one month related experience or training.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
    • Ability to speak in simple sentences in English is preferred.
    • Math skills include adding and subtracting two digit numbers, as well as multiply and dividing with 10's and 100's.
    • Can stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
